Can you simplify this square root equation?

We are learning to understand how to simplify square root equations.
I know I can do this when I write down the steps to simplifying square root equations.

Do you know how to solve a fractional exponent like: 16 to the power of 1/4?

We are learning to understand what fractional exponents are.
I know I can do this when I write down what a fractional exponent is, how to solve them and give an example of a fractional exponent.

Estimate and Measure

WALT estimate and measure in m and cm
Estimate means take a guess. Wen we estimate we use what we know then try to guess an answer as close as possible to the correct measument.

After we estimate we need to check to see if our estimation is correct.

To learn this we flew our planes.
My estimation was  13m 35cm.
My plane actually flew 1m 88cm.
My estimation was wrong.

Estimate my flight!

WALT estimate and measure in cm and m.
Estimate means guess. First we will estimate then we will check our estimation by measuring using a ruler.

I estimate that my plane will fly 13m and 35cm.
