I'm so wet!

On a sunny, Sunday afternoon my family, friends and I went to the swimming pool because it was my friend’s brother’s birthday.

It was a small pool and it was indoors. Everyone got changed and went into the cold pool first. Some people took out aqua equipment like huge beach balls and swimming boards. My friend and I got a beach ball went played volleyball in the pool. It was hard to get the ball because the water slowed us down.

Then we had something to eat. I had some tasty spaghetti, warm pizza, juice and a few gummy cokes. We ate the food and then we dived back into the pool.

My friend and I hopped on a big swimming board and floated around the pool. Soon the board started to sink so we jumped off it and made a huge splash. We jumped back on, but there were too many people so it was hard to get back on.

Soon our parents called us because it was time to go home. We had a quick shower and got changed.

My favourite part of the birthday was playing volleyball in the water.

Attack, cats!

On a cold Saturday Evening, my friends, family and I went to my friend’s house because it was his birthday.

When we got there, I went upstairs and played with my friends. We played on tone of my friend’s ipad. We played a game called Battle Cats, It was a really fun game. The game was about the cats (you) are trying to take over the world. We beat a lot of countries and the hardest country we beat was Japan because their boss was really strong.

Soon we had to eat. There was lots of different, tasty food to choose from. I ate a few nuggets and some rice. I was full after eating that.

Later my friends and I played hide n seek in the dark. The room was so dark, I couldn’t see a thing! My hiding spot I mostly hid in was the corner of the room because I wasn’t found when I hid there.

After a few rounds of hiding, We went downstairs to watch my friend open the presents. The funniest present he got was from his brothers because they gave him some crackers! It was funny but he still ate it. He got cool presents like Teenage mutant ninja turtle toys, they were small and plastic. He also got big, plastic super hero toys, some could move and some could talk!

Next we had to go home. Before we went home, my brother and I got a few blue balloon because blue is one of our favourite colours. When it’s my birthday, I want to receive cool presents like what he got.

We are learning to understand and use descriptive language.

I know I can do this when I use appropriate adjectives like cool and small in my writing.

Let's play Xbox!

One day during the holiday, my friends came over to my house after mass.

One of my friends asked me if we could play Xbox because he brought his Xbox C.D, called Call of Duty. I said, “Sure!” and got out some controllers. Then we started playing the game and as we were playing, some more people came over to visit us. Soon there weren't enough controllers for everyone so we had to share.

Later on, one of my friends and I got bored so we went outside to play some basketball. We were just shooting the ball into the hoop so I asked him if we could play horse and he said, “Okay!” Horse is a game where one person makes a move and the other person copies it. If you can’t do it, you get a letter until you collect the word ‘horse’. If you get the last letter ‘e’ you’re out. I lost because the moves that he made was too hard for me to follow.

After that, we went to grab a bite. I ate some rice, chicken and sweet and sour pork. We also drank some coca cola. Yum! It was really tasty!

Then my friends and I played minecraft on Xbox. We played my building world and then one of my friends had an idea! He said to play in survival mode so we could fight! So we did, but I kept dying in the game.

Soon my friends had to go home. It was fun playing with them, I wish we had more time to play on the Xbox because the game was so much fun.

Playing with Lego is fun!

My brother wanted to fight with our Lego creations. We made a lot of noise and a big mess. I was starting to lose so I got out my robot minion and myself, I started winning after that. When my brother’s creations were smashed, he got out his last creation and it destroyed all my creations. He was able to do it because he had put lots of spikes on his creation.Do you like playing with Lego? On  a sunny Sunday 24th of May, my brother and I were were bored, so we played with some Lego at home after mass.I got out the Lego box and my brother started constructing. While I was thinking of what to build, my brother quickly started building something. He was building like a quick buildozer. After a while, I finally decided what to build and started building swiftly. I built a large sword, the sword was longer than a ruler. I also built a small minion with strong claws, a bird, a robot with a rocket launcher and myself with a shiny sword.

Late on the day, my brother wanted to fight again so we got some more Lego blocks and started building again. I got the spikes so he couldn't use them to win again but he got the claws and upgraded his creations. We started fighting but because my brother used claws for his creations, I lost because they were too strong and powerful.

It was a great, fun game but it was very messy so we soon stopped playing and packed up. Next time we fight I’ll remember to make some spikes and claws to my creations so I could win.
